Anne DiFini is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master’s degree in social work from NYU. Anne has years of experience working with children and families both in outpatient mental health clinics and private practice.
Anne is currently in the process of getting endorsement in infant and Early Childhood mental health and works with parents and childcare workers to provide support and model strategies to address challenging behaviors in young children.
Anne has a background in early childhood development and a passion for helping parents and children improve their interactions and relationships.
Anne has experience working with children, families, teens, young adults, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, family issues and behavioral concerns. Anne applies a strength-based perspective to her treatment and supports clients in their quest to implement change and reach their own individual goals.
Anne utilizes CBT strategies to assist clients in becoming more self-aware to recognize self-destructive thought patterns and improving awareness of the connection between thoughts – feelings and behaviors. Anne supports clients during this process, helping clients to focus on the things they have control over and setting realistic goals for making positive changes and improving overall wellness.
